Men have forgotten what natural boobs look like and, of course, they are now making it a woman’s problem.
Photos of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown on the red carpet for the latest season of the hit Netflix series are going viral at the moment, where the 21-year-old actress is wearing a black dress with a plunging neckline.
One particular photo is trending on X because men on the internet are insulting the A-lister and making fun of her breasts.
Yep, let that sink in.
Men aren’t just being cruel; they are genuinely baffled by natural breasts. News.com.au has chosen not to republish the foul comments, but so you get the gist, one pathetic comment was that her boobs were “saggy”, while another declared her to be the “anti-Sydney Sweeney”.
The comments are frankly bizarre.
The young Emmy nominee looks excellent, but it really just proves that plastic surgery has become so normal that men are now acting confronted by a woman with a natural looking body.

There’s a legitimate thread also going viral as I write this where men are calling Sydney Sweeney “mid”, insisting she is average-looking.
It doesn’t matter how attractive you are, if you’re a famous woman, some anonymous man online will delight in calling you overrated or claiming you have some physical flaw.

If I had just stumbled across a thread of men claiming that Millie Bobby Brown isn’t attractive or that she is “overrated”, I would find it ridiculous. But it certainly isn’t new, interesting, or worth dissecting.
However, discovering that men are now being critical just because a woman has natural breasts and are acting like there must be something wrong with her has thoroughly alarmed me.
This is not to say that I think there is anything wrong with getting a boob job, or a breast lift, or whatever any woman wants to do with her own body.
Yet, it’s certainly a worry that society has become so saturated with fake boobs, it seems men have forgotten what real breasts look like – to the point that when they see a pair, they immediately act like there is something wrong.

Here we are in 2025 with yet another beauty standad being pushed on women. We aren’t just expected to have plump lips, baby faces, and flat stomachs with fat arses – now our boobs need to be round and high.
I apologise for sounding like a high school health teacher, but boobs come in all shapes and sizes.
So, if you don’t have fake boobs, or incredibly round, high-sitting breasts, which I’d argue are pretty rare, does that mean you have to accept that you are going to be mercilessly trolled on the internet?
Why have men decided to get together and declare natural breasts unattractive? Shouldn’t they be trying to address the male loneliness epidemic or something similar?
And, if this is what men are saying online, are they also thinking this when they go out and about in the real world?
Are men having sexual relationships with women who have chosen not to get fake boobs and leaving the sexual encounter thinking, “Wow, her boobs were saggy”?

I genuinely do think men have forgotten what a woman looks like without any plastic surgery or cosmetic enhancements.
I was talking to a straight man the other day who described his type as a “natural beauty”, which, yes, sounds problematic, but it made me curious.
The 28-year-old guy proceeded to declare he doesn’t like the whole “Kim Kardashian made-up” look.
Once again, not exactly the perfect language, but I thought I knew what he was trying to say. He preferred someone without any cosmetic enhancements, which is fine; everyone has a type, right?
For example, I like men who have a healthy amount of superannuation.
I then asked to see a photo of the girl he was seeing, a woman he described as being a “natural beauty”.

He proceeded to show me a photo of a woman who looked like she had filler, her lips done, and fake breasts, or a very, very good bra.
The whole thing made me burst out laughing, not at her – she looked great – but at the thought that this is what is considered “natural” … in what world?
I gently (okay I was still kind of laughing) explained that her looks weren’t natural and he stared back at me, completely bamboozled.
He then asked me if I was joking. Which really goes to show how confused men are now.
This particular bloke has gotten so used to seeing women wandering around with cosmetic procedures, he believes everyone has giant lips, very little movement in their foreheads and boobs that are sitting closer to chins than ribcages.

I could just tell I’d blown his mind. He was under the impression that people who have had ‘work’ done look botched.
When I asked if this changed things, was he still attracted to her? He replied, “Yeah, she’s still hot!”
So romance is not entirely dead but knowing what a natural woman looks like? Definitely deceased.
