ST.Obama Thanks Steelers Star for Joining Fight Against Hunger

Pittsburgh, PA – November 1, 2025
Former President Barack Obama has publicly thanked Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt after the NFL superstar joined his nationwide campaign to fight hunger across America.
Shortly after Obama’s viral post on X declaring that “more than 47 million Americans — including one in five children — don’t have reliable access to nutritious food,” Watt pledged a generous
$120,000 donation to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Feeding Pennsylvania, aiming to provide meals for families struggling through the winter months.
More than 47 million Americans — including one in five children — don’t have reliable, affordable access to nutritious food. And as the cost of living skyrockets, more families are depending on SNAP benefits, or food stamps, to put food on the table.— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) October 31, 2025
The gesture resonated deeply across the Steel City, where Watt remains one of the most beloved figures in franchise history. Through eight games this season, he has recorded
38 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles, once again leading one of the NFL’s most dominant defenses.
Speaking about his decision, Watt said:
“Pittsburgh has given me everything — the cheers, the pride, and the purpose. Giving back isn’t an act of charity; it’s a responsibility. No family in this city should ever have to wonder where their next meal will come from.”
Obama reposted the story with a heartfelt message:
“T.J. shows us what true leadership looks like — strength on the field, and compassion off it.”
According to sources close to the team, Obama also sent Watt a
personal gift to thank him for his contribution — believed to be a framed presidential football inscribed with the words ‘Play with power, lead with heart.’ The gesture instantly went viral, making
Steelers fans prouder than ever.
As the Steelers prepare for their Week 9 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, Watt’s leadership continues to define the identity of Pittsburgh — a city built on grit, loyalty, and heart. 💛🖤
Packers Cover Full Cancer Treatment for Franchise Hall of Fame Legend

Green Bay, WI — October 24, 2025
The Green Bay Packers have pledged to cover all medical expenses for one of their most beloved Hall of Fame legends, honoring a player whose grit and class helped define an era of Packers football.
Team president Ed Policy confirmed the decision in an emotional statement, calling it both a duty and a privilege to support a man who gave his all to the organization.
“He carried the Packers on his back during our rise to greatness,” Policy said. “Now it’s our turn to carry him. Once you’ve worn this green and gold, you’re family for life.”
That promise was made to Dorsey Levens, the dynamic running back who powered the Packers through their Super Bowl runs of the 1990s. Known as one of the NFL’s premier dual-threat backs of his generation, Levens combined vision, toughness, and versatility in a way few could match.
From 1994 to 2001, Levens appeared in 102 games for Green Bay, amassing 3,937 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns, along with 2,079 receiving yards and 16 more scores
. His career peaked in 1997, when he rushed for 1,435 yards, earned a Pro Bowl selection, and became one of the league’s most complete offensive weapons.
Levens was instrumental in the Packers’ Super Bowl XXXI victory in 1996, scoring a crucial rushing touchdown to help deliver the team’s first championship in nearly three decades. He followed it up with
90 rushing yards in Super Bowl XXXII, proving again that his best moments came under the brightest lights.
After leaving Green Bay, Levens spent brief stints with the Eagles, Giants, and Steelers
, finishing his NFL career with 4,955 rushing yards, 36 rushing touchdowns, and 2,334 receiving yards. His contributions were immortalized when he was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2009.
As the news of his illness spread, tributes poured in from across Wisconsin. Former teammates, coaches, and fans remembered Levens not only as a champion but as a symbol of determination and humility — a player who embodied what it means to be a Packer for life.
