ss NFL SHOCKWAVE HITS DALLAS! Jerry Jones just went all in — and got shut down. Sources say the Cowboys made massive trade offers for star pass rushers Trey Hendrickson and Maxx Crosby… but both teams flat-out rejected them. Inside sources claim Jones is “furious” as the clock ticks toward the Nov. 4 deadline. What happens next could define the Cowboys’ season — or destroy it.

After eight weeks of the NFL season, it’s obvious that the Dallas Cowboys have an elite offense. They came into the week ranked second in scoring, averaging a robust 31.7 points per game. While the Cowboys didn’t have as much success scoring against Denver, it doesn’t help that the Broncos have one of the NFL’s best defenses, allowing the fourth-fewest points in the league.

Yet, the Cowboys realize where their defensive weaknesses are, and they’re trying to do something about them.According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Cowboys have already made trade offers for a pair of All-Pro pass-rushers. Specifically, Glazer reports that the Cowboys have presented trade offers to the Cincinnati Bengals for Trey Hendrickson and to the Las Vegas Raiders for Maxx Crosby. Both attempts were turned down.

Now that the Cowboys have fallen to 3-4-1, we’ll see whether Dallas remains so aggressive in their trade attempts. With the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline rapidly approaching, time is running out for the Cowboys to make an impact move. Yet, maybe now they won’t want to.

Then again, after the Bengals fell to 3-5, perhaps they’d reconsider trading Hendrickson. He’s headed into the final year of his contract in Cincinnati, but Hendrickson also re-injured his hip on Sunday, which could factor into his trade availability too.

The Raiders were on a bye, so their stance on not trading Crosby likely hasn’t changed. Will the Cowboys turn to other alternatives ahead of the trade deadline? They have a little over a week to make a decision.
