Son.“IT’S MY BIRTHDAY TODAY… BUT I’M CELEBRATING ALONE 🥹💔 | Even in Sickness, I Hoped Someone Would Remember — Yet Not a Single Blessing Came. Sometimes the Quiet Hurts More Than the Pain.”

Today is my birthday.
The day that should have been filled with laughter, wishes, hugs, or simply a text message saying “Happy Birthday”… but in this quiet room, there is only the sound of my own labored breathing echoing between the four cold walls.

I know I am sick. I know my body is no longer strong enough to pursue the normal things that I never thought of before. But during these tiring days, I only hope that today — on the only day that belongs to me — someone will remember me. A friend. A relative. Someone who promised not to forget me.

But the phone remains silent.
Not vibrating.
Not lighting up.
Not a single wish.

Then I suddenly realized: sometimes, sadness does not come from the pain in the body… but from the silence surrounding one’s heart. The silence makes one feel small, forgotten, as if one’s existence has never been special to anyone.

But in the midst of my loneliest moments, I understood one thing:
Birthdays are not just about being celebrated — they are about reminding myself that I am still alive.

That even if no one remembers…
I still deserve to be loved.
I still deserve joy.
I still deserve hope for healthier, brighter, lighter days.

And even if no one says it today, I will say it to myself:

“Happy birthday.
Thank you for making it this far.
Thank you for being strong, even though no one knows what you’ve been through.”

Because sometimes, miracles begin not with others…
but with how you embrace yourself when it seems like no one else is there.

If you feel alone today — know that someone is here, thinking of you, sending a gentle wish into your heart:

Happy birthday.
You are not forgotten. 🎂💛
