Kristen Bell fans shocked as she jokes about Dax Shepard killing her in bold post
The couple celebrated 12 years of marriage on Friday (October 17)

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard recently celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on Friday (October 17), and the actress shared on her social media what her husband said to her on their special day.
Bell and Dax Shepard, who share two daughters, Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10, first started dating in 2007 before they officially tied the knot in Beverly Hills on October 7, 2013.
The stars are very much open with their fans about their personal lives, with topics like sex and parenting their children not being off the table of discussion.
And recently, the celeb couple celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary over the weekend. Like any couple sharing a huge relationship milestone, they took to social media to share it with their followers, though what Bell said in her celebratory Instagram post has divided a few people.

The picture was of the couple sharing a hug, while The Gossip Girl alum wrote: “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point.”
“‘Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would,'” she added with a red heart emoji.
While people acknowledged that the couple are renowned for ‘oversharing’ intimate details, such as publicly posting nude images, albeit with private parts censored out, and appear to share a unique sense of humor, there were some things that should be kept between the two of them.
“My husband and I say out-of-pocket stuff to each other because we know it’s a joke, but we don’t tell people,” one Reddit commenter weighed in. “Especially not strangers.”
“I’m glad they get each other’s humor. And I’m glad I do not,” chimed a second, while a third said: “Exactly this. I get that it’s supposed to be funny, but I did not laugh.”
Meanwhile, someone else said that ‘making these kinds of jokes in private when you know each other well can be completely fine, but telling the rest of the world is just weird’.
The insight comes as the 50-year-old Parenthood star recently celebrated a major milestone.

Bell thanked her husband for staying sober in a post alongside several images of Shepard hugging their daughters.
“This is what 21 years of sobriety looks like. Lots of hugging,” she wrote in the Instagram caption. “Hugging everyone and everything. Hugging life. Thank you for getting sober, @daxshepard. I am eternally grateful to have you. We all are.”
The Veronica Mars star also raised eyebrows when she quipped to E! News earlier this year: “Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he’s committed to our family.”

Diane Keaton made sincere admission in one of her final interviews before death aged 79
The actress revealed in the years before her death why she never got married

Diane Keaton made a candid confession about why she never wanted to do this one thing in her life before her death.
The adored movie star, famous for her roles in Something’s Gotta Give and Twin Peaks, tragically passed away on October 11 at her home in California.
Touching tributes have since been pouring in for the fashionable 79-year-old, from both fans and famous faces, including Oscar-winning songwriter Carole Bayer Sager, who recalled her last meeting in the weeks before Keaton’s death and how she looked ‘very thin.’
Keaton’s cause of death is yet to be determined, and her grieving family have asked for privacy. She is survived by her two children, Dexter, now 29, and Duke, 25.
Now, an old interview with the Oscar-winner has resurfaced, which reveals just how Keaton chose to live her life, as Sager said she was always ‘on her own terms.’
Speaking to PEOPLE from her Brentwood home back in 2019, Keaton claimed she hadn’t learned ‘anything’ in her 70s.

“Getting older hasn’t made me wiser,” she stated.
However, she told the outlet how she always remained driven by what she wanted out of life – and knew she didn’t exactly want the most conventional one.
“I knew what I wanted in life, and I went after it,” the then 73-year-old said. “Being a person who always knew simplifies things — it’s hard to find your way if you don’t.”
Despite her fair share of entanglements with some of Hollywood’s heartthrobs throughout her career, like Al Pacino, Warren Beatty and Woody Allen, Keaton never tied the knot.
Although it was the norm in her generation, with women usually expected to marry, the Reds actress apparently wasn’t bothered at all.
“Today I was thinking, I’m the only one in my generation of actresses who has been a single woman all her life. I’m really glad I didn’t get married,” she told the outlet. “I’m an oddball. I remember in high school, this guy came up to me and said, ‘One day you’re going to make a good wife’.
“And I thought, ‘I don’t want to be a wife. No’.”
She even appeared to hint at some regret over her dating history, adding: “When I was young, I was looking to be loved by these extraordinary people.

“I think I should not have been so seduced by talent. When you’re both doing the same job, it’s not so great. I should have found just a nice human being, kind of a family guy.”
In another Q&A with Interview Magazine, Friends star Lisa Kudrow asked her more directly about her opinions on marriage.
The actress asked: “Our society has always had an expectation for women to get married, and you’ve said it just hasn’t felt right for you. What informed that feeling?”
Keaton then revealed it boils down to her own mom, stating how married life meant she had to abandon her dreams.
“It goes back to my mother, because, for me, most everything does. I love my dad, of course—that goes without saying—but she was always there, and he was always working.
“I saw how much she gave up,” Keaton continued in part. “I feel like she chose family over her dreams. And she was just the best mother, but I think that she is the reason why I didn’t get married. I didn’t want to give up my independence.
“By the way, no one has ever asked me to marry them, either, so that might be a good answer.”Featured Image Credit: Getty Images/Gilbert Flores

Selena Gomez addresses Benny Blanco cheating rumors head on with bold Instagram post
That’s one way to silence the critics

Selena Gomez has finally addressed rumors her fiancé Benny Blanco has been cheating on her, without saying any words at all.
Fans were shook by the sudden coupling between Gomez and Blanco since the pair had long been friends, having met when they were just teens of around 17 and then working on the music producer’s track ‘I Can’t Get Enough’ in 2019.
It wasn’t until December 2023 that the actor-turned-singer revealed she had been dating Blanco, whose real name is Benjamin Levin, after sparks apparently flew when they were working on her track, ‘Single Soon’.
The 11-time Grammy nominee co-produced the tune from August 2023 and the rest, as they say, is history.
He popped the question to Gomez in December last year, and ever since, the loved-up couple have not taken a breather out of the spotlight.

Earlier this year, the hottest new couple in Hollywood sat down for a joint interview with Interview Magazine where Blanco said he often worries the Disney Channel superstar is going to have a change of heart and dump him.
Gomez swatted this concern away, going on to describe their intense romantic connection, as evidenced by his cheesy Valentine’s Day gesture where he filled a bathtub full of nacho cheese with ‘I love you’ written out in chips scattered across the floor.
Then, last month, they made headlines again after fans spotted an NSFW item in the background of a recent Instagram post – a bottle of lube just chilling on the windowsill behind Gomez.

However, despite their apparent adoration of one another, the rumor mill has been busy at work, recently accusing Blanco of cheating on his other half.
The situation spiralled when Gomez appeared to mysteriously unfollow her best friend, Theresa Marie, on Instagram.
Eagle-eyed fans claimed to have spotted the OnlyFans star enjoying a private dinner with Blanco, fueling the rumors that the pair were having relationship troubles.
Now, Gomez has appeared to address the vicious speculation once and for all, taking to Instagram to squash the rumor for good.
As the saying goes, a picture says a thousand words, and Gomez went with this method by posting a cosy snap with her buddy in what fans are saying is a clear rebuttal of the infidelity allegations.
Among nostalgic snaps with her nearest and dearest, the 32-year-old captioned the post: “lil blast from the past because basically I’m lying horizontal rn and reminiscing bout some memories,” with a love heart emoji to hammer the point home.
Marie, a former personal executive assistant to Kim Kardashian, became acquainted with Gomez around 2014 through work – and by 2019, were the best buds.
Gomez wrote in another Instagram post at the time: “I met Theresa 5 years ago. We worked together and became best friends.
“She has taught me how to see life in a fun, carefree and uplifting way. She has shown me how to be a strong and fearless woman.
“She is beautiful, kind and smart. I saw how capable she was of achieving her dreams. I wanted nothing more than to see her pursue them and soar.
“And here you are making it happen T. I love you and I am so proud of you.”Featured Image Credit: Todd Owyoung/NBC via Getty Images

Museum owner issues major warning to people looking up Ed Gein as she reveals what was missed in the show
Monsters: The Ed Gein story has got a lot of people curious about the real-life case

A woman who owns a museum she says houses several authentic artefacts from the Ed Gein case has issued a warning to those doing a deep dive after watching Monsters.
Netflix’s show Monster: The Ed Gein Story is the latest TV series added to the mountains of crime dramas out there, and things are going as expected.
While the show admits to filling in some unknown gaps and dramatizing real events, it has sparked interest in many viewers.
For those out of the know, Ed Gein is the real-life killer who went on to inspire many of the most evil and creepiest individuals in popular media.
In reality, Gein murdered at least two women in the 1950s, robbed graves and dismembered bodies to create a ‘house of horrors’.
His dreadful crimes were discovered when a woman named Bernice Worden went missing in 1957, which led to police investigating Gein’s home.
Authorities found Worden decapitated and hanging from the ceiling and discovered that Gein had actually been turning body parts into clothes made from human skin.

While this all sounds rather disturbing, Chloë Manon, the co-owner of The Grave Face Museum in Savannah, has warned against people doing deep dives regarding the real cases online.
Speaking in a TikTok video, Manon argued that much of the information found online pertaining to the case is false, exaggerated and shaped by decades of misinformation from Hollywood movies.
She noted that while it can be easy to find images of supposed physical artefacts from the case, many were actually destroyed after being illegally obtained, with very few of them surviving today.
In the social media video, she said: “So they obtained this illegal evidence, and they weren’t able to use it in the courtroom.
“It was inadmissible. So he was charged for the murder of Bernice, found not guilty by reason of insanity, and went back to the psychiatric ward.

The museum owner warned against believing everything online about the real Ed Gein (Netflix)
“And you might be wondering now, or maybe you’re not, what happened to all of the inadmissible evidence? It was destroyed. So it was burned, it was incinerated, or it was buried.”
Manon also questioned the accuracy of many of the reports from the time of the murders in the late 50s and ultimately argued that much of the information found online should be taken with a grain of salt.
She added: “There were also more reporters and journalists than people who actually lived in Plainfield when all of this was happening.
“Not to mention that these initial news reports were happening as the case was still ongoing. Typically, you don’t report on an ongoing investigation and state things as facts until they’re found to be factual. That didn’t happen here.”Featured Image Credit: Bettmann/Getty Images / Netflix

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard told their children he is an addict
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have their own ideas of what they should be telling their kids

Kristen Bell and her husband Dax Shepard have been being brutally honestly with their young children, even telling them about how their ‘daddy is an addict’.
Shepard has battled substance misuse issues in the past, starting when he was a teenager.
He’s sober at the moment and has been for a while, but the recovery journey is a long one, and one that has constant impact on a person’s life.

The kids are likely to find out about their parents at some point, given that they are both celebrities, so why not try to bring it slowly into their consciousness when they are young, but old enough to start to understand?
That seems to be the thinking behind the pair’s parenting methods.
Bell recently admitted that there is ‘nothing off the table’ with regards to what she’ll tell her two young daughters, including some stuff that might be ‘shocking’ to others.
Basically, Bell and Shepard haven’t shied away from the ‘hard’ stuff with their daughters, nine-year-old Lincoln and eight-year-old Delta.
Speaking to Real Simple, Bell said: “There are all these ‘hard topics’ that don’t have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit.
“I hate the word ‘taboo’.
“I think it should be stricken from the dictionary.
“There should be no topic that’s off the table for people to talk about.”
She also explained some of the lessons that she wants to impart to her kids, including fixing their mistakes and owning up to stuff so that they can at least be happy in themselves.

Bell continued: “If there’s one thing I want to teach my kids, it’s how to make amends – and that it’s for themselves, so they can like who’s in the mirror a little bit more.
“Making amends and apologising is an important thing in our family, because humans leave carnage wherever they go.
“I really respect when someone does something wrong or hurtful and they apologize.
“I’m like, ‘Yeah, right on’.
“That’s important.”
In another interview last year, she spoke about how she wanted her sisters to have a close relationship and realise that they are a team, telling them that ‘you’re going to get nothing accomplished’ by fighting with each other.
She said: “I want to really instil in them, ‘You are a team’.
“We made two of you so that there would be someone for you guys when we pass, so you guys are to be the strongest relationship you have on the planet, even if you disagree.
“You don’t have to agree on everything, but you do have to maintain the sense of unconditional love for each other.”
