sk Dallas Cowboys Star CeeDee Lamb Suddenly Benched as Viral Casino Meltdown Rumors Explode Before Cowboys-Raiders ‘MNF’ Showdown — Shocking New Details Surface

CeeDee Lamb’s decision to have a good time in Sin City may have been the reason behind his benching for the Dallas Cowboys’ opening drive against the Las Vegas Raiders on ‘Monday Night Football.’

Lamb and fellow star wideout George Pickens were both benched for the opening series for reasons unknown. After the Cowboys’ 33-16 road win over the Raiders, head coach Brian Schottenheimer and Lamb both declined to go into specifics.

Per ESPN’s Todd Archer, the only thing Schottenheimer said was, “There were some things that were missed, so had a conversation with those guys and that was easy.” The two stars combined for 14 receptions and 210 yards, with each hauling in one touchdown.

Although nothing has been confirmed, a rumor is circulating that Lamb was spotted “throwing up” at the popular Red Rock Casino at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, which may have led to Schottenheimer’s decision to bench him.

No prominent NFL insiders have reported this story, so take it with a grain of salt.

At any rate, Schottenheimer’s decision to discipline his two best wideouts didn’t backfire whatsoever. The 4-5-1 Cowboys will try and continue the momentum when they host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, making his Cowboys debut after being traded from the New York Jets, also made a big difference with 1.5 sacks in Dallas’ monumental prime-time road win.

There’s a cliche in sports that your best players have to be your best players. That’s very much the case for the Cowboys, who will need Lamb, Pickens, Williams, Dak Prescott, Javonte Williams, and DaRon Bland at their best if they’re to make a run at a playoff spot.

In a rugged NFC, Dallas can probably finish 10-6-1 at worst to make the playoffs. They’ll have to go 6-1 the rest of the way to have a chance, though a 7-0 finish (easier said than done, of course) would surely get them in.
