Brad Paisley & Wife Kimberly Celebrate 22 Years Of Marriage

Country music star Brad Paisley first noticed his now-wife Kimberly when he saw her in the 1991 film Father of the Bride, where she played Annie Banks. 

It wasn’t until 10 years later, though, that the pair actually met. Paisley ended up asking her to star in his music video for “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” and not long after that, the two began dating.

The Paisley’s officially tied the knot in 2003, and later welcomed two sons together: William Huckleberry (18) and Jasper Warren (16).

Brad has previously credited their “healthy senses of humor” as the secret to their long and happy marriage. 

“We both have very healthy senses of humor. Anything I take myself too seriously on, she will gladly cut me down to size on and destroy all pre-conceived notions that I’m cool in any way,” Paisley said in a 2023 interview with The Boot. “You’ve got to have similar outlooks and really healthy senses of humor. Pretension should be completely gone in a marriage. Actually, it should be gone before you get married! You should know somebody really well and know that they know how to take a joke and they know how to take you. That’s the key — a sense of humor.”

During a recent interview with CMT’s Cody Alan, Brad expanded on that “secret” to their healthy marriage after all these years, admitting that he could “make her laugh.”

“That’s about it,” Brad told Cody during last week’s episode of “Hot 20 Countdown.”
