SAC.“Poll: 25% of New Yorkers Ready to Leave the City if Zohran Mamdani Wins — ‘A Turning Point for NYC’”

More than a quarter of New Yorkers will consider fleeing the Big Apple if Zohran Mamdani is elected mayor, according to a new poll that warns that a socialist-run City Hall “could reshape the city for years to come.”

The shocking new survey, released Friday morning from polling firm Victory Insights, revealed that a “whopping” 26.5% of respondents were thinking about moving in 2026 if the Democratic Socialists of America lawmaker takes the helm.

The poll has Mamdani dominating every combination of match-ups, with his majority seemingly inevitable with healthy leads in each.

In the most likely three-way race, the Queens assemblyman trounces ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo by nearly 20 points, 46.7% to 28.6%, with GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa in a distant third with 16.2% of the vote.

Roughly 8.5% remain undecided, according to the poll.

It also shows that nearly 40% of voters believe that Mamdani would be a threat to New York City’s future.

That includes just under a third of Democrats who believe his mayoralty could pose an issue for the Big Apple.

“It would come as a major surprise if anyone other than Mamdani is elected mayor of New York City,” the polling outfit said.

“However, many voters are extremely concerned about that outcome. Thirty-nine percent of voters believe Mamdani is a threat to the future of the city. Cuomo and Sliwa voters are widely considering fleeing the city if he’s elected. New York City seems to be nearing an inflection point, one that could reshape the city for years to come.”

The independent poll of 500 likely voters was conducted between October 22 and 24. The margin of error was not released.

New Yorkers are set to start heading to the polls for early voting on Saturday, with Election Day just 11 days away on Nov. 4.
