rr BREAKING: CeeDee Lamb Sets The Tone For Cowboys As He Demands A New ‘Sense Of Urgency’ Inside The Locker Room.

The Dallas Cowboys dropped to 3-4-1 after the loss to the Denver Broncos, and CeeDee Lamb knows it’s gut-check time for his team.

With eight of the 17 games already in the books, and Dallas still an inconsistent team having not won back-to-back games all year, something has to change and soon if the Cowboys are to be a playoff team.Games against the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders on either side of their bye, there is a chance for Dallas to string some wins together before a brutal gauntlet of games in November.
And Lamb knows his role as a leader of the locker room is to get everyone on the same page.
“I feel like we all grown,” Lamb said. “We all understand what’s going on, but we definitely will pass it throughout the locker room. I rather overcommunicate than under. Being one of the leaders, I should be the one just having us have that sense of urgency and understand throughout the team. So, as for us, we got to go back to the drawing board, and we got a game on Monday night.”
Can Cowboys make the playoffs?
Yes, they can, but Brian Schottenheimer’s team has to find its consistency, which so far has alluded them. Plus, the defense has to show a serious uptick in improvement for the Cowboys to even be competitive against the big guns of the conference.
Granted, it won’t happen overnight, but it starts with beating the Cardinals and then the Raiders to hopefully be 5-4-1 and have some momentum going into a three-game stretch of the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, and Detroit Lions.
It might seem like a tall order, and after watching the disaster in Denver, no one right now will say this Dallas team is playoff-caliber, but win the next two and you have a fighting chance.
Based on what I’ve seen throughout eight games, I wouldn’t hold my breath, though.
