RM Reba McEntire to Host This Year’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center”

Reba McEntire Brings Her Holiday Cheer to New York City
Country music legend Reba McEntire is getting ready to spread some holiday magic! The superstar has officially announced that she will be hosting this year’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” the beloved annual television special that celebrates the lighting of the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree in New York City.
The show’s announcement read:
“Reba’s about to light up your holiday season!”
In a statement to People Magazine, Reba shared her excitement about the opportunity:
“I’m really excited to get to go to New York City in December. I’ve never been there in December. To see all the Christmas decorations and to be part of the tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center—it’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and I’m honored they asked me.”

Following in Kelly Clarkson’s Footsteps
Reba will be taking over hosting duties from Kelly Clarkson, her close friend and former daughter-in-law, who hosted the special in both 2023 and 2024. Kelly not only hosted but also delivered unforgettable performances, including her hit holiday song “Underneath The Tree.”

Bundling Up for the Winter Weather
As someone who’s more familiar with the mild southern climate, Reba admits she’s preparing carefully for New York’s chilly December air:
“I’m going to triple, maybe even quadruple layer! I’ll probably have my heated vest on and wear all the insulated clothing I can find,” she joked.
