RM Billie Eilish Slams Elon Musk for Amassing Wealth in Explicit Rant

What purpose does a trillion dollars even serve? What could someone possibly buy that requires that level of wealth? Can anyone truly feel fulfilled while sitting on such an overwhelming surplus? You can’t take it with you after you die, and without genuine purpose or human connection, that kind of excess starts to feel meaningless—especially when it stems from pure greed. That’s the perspective Billie Eilish took when reports surfaced suggesting Elon Musk may soon reach trillionaire status.

The “Ocean Eyes” artist recently posted a series of reactions on Instagram after hearing the news. In screenshots shared by TMZ, she highlighted claims that Musk could theoretically eliminate world hunger by spending $40 billion annually. Another estimate suggested $140 billion could secure clean water for everyone on Earth for the next seven years. Beyond that, she noted he could help protect endangered wildlife or contribute to rebuilding war-torn regions such as Gaza, Ukraine, and Syria.

Since Musk has made no moves toward any of these efforts, Eilish unleashed a harsh string of insults, calling him a “fing pathetic py b**** coward,” making it clear she wasn’t holding back.

Billie Eilish Continues Critiquing Extreme Wealth

This isn’t the first instance of Eilish confronting the ultra-rich. During her acceptance speech for the Music Innovator Award at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards, she addressed the high-net-worth attendees directly. Acknowledging the billionaires in the room, Eilish urged them to consider redistributing their wealth.

“We’re living in a moment where the world feels really dark and really difficult, and people need compassion and support more than ever,” she said. “If you have money, it would be wonderful to use it for good—maybe give some to people who genuinely need it.”

She continued, “Love you all, but some of you here have way more money than I do. If you’re a billionaire, why are you still a billionaire? No shade, but go ahead and give that money away, shorties.”

Her remarks earned applause and laughter from many in the audience. However, according to PEOPLE, Mark Zuckerberg wasn’t amused; an eyewitness reported he was one of the few who didn’t clap in response to her comments.
