RM Bad Bunny Keeps Dreaming — and Winning!Takes Home Milestone “Best Artist of the 21st Century” Award at Latin Billboards

Bad Bunny continues to dominate the music scene — and probably frustrate his critics — after being honored with the Best Artist of the 21st Century title at this year’s Latin Billboard Awards.

The Puerto Rican superstar had his big moment Thursday night when legendary actress Rita Moreno presented him with the milestone trophy, commending his incredible “strength and passion” as an artist.

Onstage, the “Después de la Playa” hitmaker reflected on his journey, acknowledging the hard work that got him here — not just his own, but also his team’s dedication and the collective effort of fellow Latin artists pushing the genre further into the global spotlight.

Humbly accepting the honor, he said, “I know this award could have gone to any of the artists here tonight who’ve also helped elevate Latin music, who have inspired me, and who continue to dream big. I still see myself as that same young man full of dreams, goals, and so much more to accomplish.”

Interestingly, Bad Bunny didn’t bring up his massive upcoming performance — headlining the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show — a topic that’s been lighting up headlines lately.

The announcement has sparked both excitement and backlash. Critics including Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump have slammed the NFL’s decision, citing his past reluctance to tour the U.S. and the fact that he primarily performs in Spanish.

Despite the noise, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear there’s no change of plans. He praised Bad Bunny for understanding the significance of the platform and confirmed the league stands firmly behind its choice.

Once again, Bad Bunny proves he’s not just living the dream — he’s redefining it.
