qq. The mic hadn’t even cooled when Kylie Kelce leaned in, voice sharp with playful fire, and dropped the line that sent every Cowboys fan jolting upright. No detours, no sugarcoating—she said she wants Thanksgiving fans cheering for the Chiefs and leaving “America’s Team” in the cold. You could hear the grin in her words, feel the sibling loyalty blazing as she backed Travis Kelce before their showdown with Dallas. The podcast room crackled like a fuse had just been lit. And now everyone’s wondering—how fiery is this Thanksgiving about to get?

Kylie Kelce is showing some love to “Uncle Trav” while getting her digs in at the beloved birds’ NFC East rival, the Cowboys.

Kelce implored fans not to root for the Cowboys during their upcoming Thanksgiving Day game against the Chiefs, which also happens to be the team that her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, plays for.

The beloved member of the Kelce clan was speaking on her podcast “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” when she also took aim at the Cowboys’ status as “America’s team.”

“Don’t root for the Cowboys and do root for the Chiefs. Let’s go, Uncle Trav,” she said. “Also, I’m so sick of the idea that the Cowboys are America’s team. So, they can kiss my ass and, you guessed it, get f–ked.”

The Cowboys have long held the moniker of “America’s team,” dating back to 1978 when it was first coined by NFL Films producer Bob Ryan for a highlight package.

It was narrated by legendary NFL Films voice John Facenda for a highlight reel of the 1978 season.

“The Cowboys are the Notre Dame of professional football. No matter where they play, their fans are there to greet them. Their faces are recognized by fans all across this country. The sum total of their stars are a galaxy. They are the Dallas Cowboys… America’s Team,” he said in the clip, per Bleacher Report.

Kelce’s rooting interest in the game also stems from the fact that the Chiefs will be playing the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

Travis Kelce is the brother of Kylie Kelce’s husband, Eagles great Jason Kelce.

During the podcast, she made sure to give Travis his due after he broke the Chiefs’ all-time touchdown record with his 21-yard touchdown catch during their 22-19 loss to the Broncos in Week 11.

“That is an unbelievable feat,” she said. “Something that will be very difficult to get dethroned from.”
