Actor Yu Menglong passed away on September 11 in a high-end apartment building in Beijing (China). He was confirmed to have died from falling from the upper floor to the ground. The actor’s management company and mother also announced that Menglong fell from a height after being drunk.
Although the police announced that they had ruled out any criminal elements, over the past four weeks, a series of suspicions about the actor’s death as well as information about Mong Lung’s personal life have been continuously shared.

A representative of the Chaoyang District Police Department (Beijing) called on netizens not to fabricate or spread rumors, and asked everyone to respect the family’s wish to protect their privacy to avoid causing further mental trauma.
On October 8, a copy of the autopsy results believed to be of Vu Mong Lung was also spread online, causing a stir among fans of the Chinese handsome man.
To date, nearly 300,000 people have signed a petition to reopen the investigation into Yu Menglong’s cause of death. The petition, titled “Demand Justice for Yu Menglong,” was launched on September 20 and is available in English and Chinese.
Artists such as Tong Y Nhan, Pham The Ky, Trinh Thanh Tung, and Dien Hai Dung are continuously named in the incident related to Vu Mong Lung.

In early October, singer Pham The Ky announced the cancellation of his concert in Chengdu (China) due to “health reasons”. However, according to some sources, The Ky was forced to cancel the show because of concerns about a boycott from the audience and low ticket sales.
A representative of The Century released a statement: “We regret to announce that the Fan Shiqi Hot-Blooded Idiot Chengdu Station performance , scheduled for October 18, has been canceled due to the artist’s health. After evaluation and recommendations from the professional medical team, along with comprehensive consideration from the crew, we have made this decision.”
According to some sources, Pham The Ky was said to have attended Vu Mong Lung’s last party. The Ky and Mong Lung have been close friends for more than 10 years. The two were both discovered through reality TV shows and accompanied each other in many events.
On September 23, Song Yiren spoke out through her lawyer. The statement noted that a large amount of false information had appeared on platforms such as Weibo, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin (China). This information deliberately linked Song Yiren with Yu Menglong’s death.

The statement stressed that the extreme accusations, including fabricated charges of “murder”, “buying people to drink”, “fleeing abroad” and “prostitution brokerage”, have seriously damaged Song Yiren’s reputation and image.

Actress Dien Hai Dung also expressed anger when director Trinh Thanh Tung publicly disclosed part of the private conversation between the two. Despite Hai Dung’s repeated requests, Trinh Thanh Tung still refused to remove this information.
