MHS I’ve always been crazy about animals. Dogs, cats, birds—you name it, I love them all. My wife often jokes that I treat our pets better than her, and maybe she’s a little right. I talk to my dog every morning, share snacks with the cat, and even let them watch TV with me. When my wife calls me for dinner, sometimes I’m too busy playing fetch in the yard. She rolls her eyes but smiles, knowing that animals bring out the softest part of my heart. They don’t argue, they don’t complain—they just love you for who you are. Of course, my wife knows she’s my number one, but our furry friends definitely share a close second place. Loving animals doesn’t mean I love her less—it just means my heart has extra room for more unconditional love.
