LDT “New Legal Push Demands Release of FBI Files on Virginia Giuffre”
The fight for transparency in the Epstein case has taken a dramatic new turn. Judicial Watch has filed a federal lawsuit demanding that the U.S. Department of Justice release all FBI records related to Virginia Giuffre — including interviews, transcripts, agency correspondence, and investigative files.

The group says its earlier April FOIA request went unanswered, triggering a July legal complaint accusing the DOJ of “stonewalling” critical information. The lawsuit also seeks communications between the FBI and other federal agencies that reference Giuffre, arguing that the public has a right to know how her claims were handled at the highest levels.
The potential release of these files could be explosive. Giuffre was one of the key witnesses who provided detailed accounts of Epstein’s trafficking network and the political, social, and financial structures that allowed it to flourish.
The lawsuit comes amid ongoing public scrutiny of Epstein’s government connections — from controversial plea deals to allegations that powerful figures received preferential treatment.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton called the case “a test of transparency, accountability, and whether federal agencies are willing to reveal what they knew — and when they knew it.”
If successful, the lawsuit could open a new chapter in the Epstein investigation, shedding light on how one of the most significant whistleblowers in the case interacted with federal authorities.
