LDT “🎸 Miranda Lambert Launches Big Loud Texas to Champion the Next Generation of Outlaw Country”
Country music powerhouse Miranda Lambert is taking her love for authentic, roots-driven storytelling to the next level with the launch of Big Loud Texas, a record label dedicated to elevating Texas-born talent and keeping the spirit of “outlaw country” alive.

The new imprint, created in partnership with Big Loud Records and helmed alongside her longtime collaborator Jon Randall, aims to spotlight artists who embody the independent, truth-telling ethos that defined country’s golden age. Randall will serve as President of A&R, focusing on discovering and developing emerging voices from across the Lone Star State.
“This is about keeping the outlaw movement going,” Lambert said when announcing the label. “Texas music has always had its own sound — real, raw, and honest. We want to make sure those voices keep being heard.”
A Label Rooted in Authenticity
Big Loud Texas launched in 2023 as a creative extension of Lambert’s lifelong connection to her home state. Its mission goes beyond signing artists — it’s about preserving the storytelling tradition that shaped legends like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
In 2024, the label announced its first major signing, Jake Worthington, a Texas native known for his traditional honky-tonk sound. Earlier this year, the company expanded its operations with Big Loud Texas Publishing, bringing on Lizzy Rector as Publishing Director and songwriter Timothy Allen as its first signee.
A New Chapter for Miranda Lambert
The launch of Big Loud Texas coincides with a new creative era for Lambert. After signing a fresh recording deal with Republic Records (in partnership with Big Loud) in 2024, she released her album Postcards from Texas, a project steeped in the same raw, unfiltered spirit her label now seeks to nurture.
Lambert describes Big Loud Texas as both a passion project and a homecoming — a way to give back to the community that raised her. “Texas shaped who I am as an artist,” she said. “This label is about opening doors for the next generation to tell their stories, their way.”
With Big Loud Texas, Miranda Lambert isn’t just honoring the past — she’s building the future of country music, one outlaw song at a time.
