On Thursday, November 6, FOX Nation hosted its 7th Annual Patriot Awards, a night dedicated to celebrating American heroes, service members, and individuals who embody courage, honor, and patriotism.
Among the standout moments was a heartfelt performance by country superstar Jason Aldean, who took the stage to deliver his powerful anthem “Try That in a Small Town.” The song, which has become a symbol of small-town values and resilience, was performed as a special tribute to the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The audience — filled with veterans, first responders, and community leaders — responded with a standing ovation as Aldean’s performance was accompanied by a montage highlighting Kirk’s life, work, and commitment to conservative youth activism.
The Patriot Awards, held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, featured appearances from FOX hosts including Tucker Carlson, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and Pete Hegseth, as well as recipients of the Hero of the Year and Servant Leadership awards.
