OFFICIAL TRAILER: “CHRISTMAS IN ROCKEFELLER CENTER” — A MAGICAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION RETURNS TO NBC

New York City — The lights, the music, and the magic are back! NBC has just released the official trailer for this year’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special — the annual holiday tradition that transforms Midtown Manhattan into a winter wonderland and marks the start of the festive season for millions around the world.

The 2025 broadcast promises to be one of the most star-studded and emotional celebrations yet, headlined by Reba McEntire, who returns to host and perform after last year’s show-stopping success. The Queen of Country will be joined by a dazzling lineup of guest performers, including Michael Bublé, Kelly Clarkson, Pentatonix, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani, blending holiday classics with brand-new performances filmed live at the iconic Rockefeller Plaza.

The trailer opens with sweeping aerial shots of New York City blanketed in snow, the camera gliding toward the world-famous Rockefeller Christmas Tree — a 90-foot Norway Spruce adorned with over 50,000 LED lights and crowned by the Swarovski crystal star. As Reba’s voice softly narrates — “It’s more than a tree… it’s a beacon of hope, joy, and togetherness” — the music swells to a festive medley of “O Holy Night” and “Let It Snow.”

Clips tease breathtaking live performances, celebrity guest appearances, and behind-the-scenes moments from the lighting ceremony that draws thousands to the plaza each December. There’s even a glimpse of Reba’s emotional duet with a children’s choir on “Silent Night,” filmed under the glowing tree lights — a moment already being called “the heart of Christmas.”

NBC producers promise this year’s special will celebrate not only the holiday spirit but also the resilience and kindness that define the season. “In times when the world feels divided,” said executive producer Doug Vaughan, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center reminds us what we share — love, laughter, and the power of music to bring us together.”

The full “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” broadcast airs Wednesday, December 3rd at 8/7c on NBC and will stream exclusively on Peacock.

From the first twinkling light to the final chorus of carols, this year’s special captures the heart of the holidays — pure, joyful, and timeless.

It’s the magic of New York. The warmth of tradition. The sound of Christmas.
