Brad Paisley Delivers The United States National Anthem
It was announced on Monday (October 27) that country star Brad Paisley would be singing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” while singer Toronto-born musician JP Saxe would be singing the Canadian National Anthem.
According to the MLB, “Five North American AT-6 planes from the Condor Squadron will fly over Dodger Stadium during the Star-Spangled Banner, as a grand flag is unfurled in center field.”
A lifelong Dodgers fan, Paisley has had the honor of performing the national anthem at a World Series game a couple times now! During 2024’s series, he performed prior to Game 1. The Dodgers ended up winning the series, so maybe they brought him back for good luck!
He also sang the anthem during the Dodgers’ World Series runs in 2017 and 2018.
He walked up to the mic with his guitar and performed a classic rendition of the song.
Fans were in agreement that it was a solid performance, with some saying, “Paisley crushed it!!! Time to PLAY BALL,” while another wrote, “What an anthem!”
