Air Force One did a remarkable flyover of Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, on Sunday (Novembr 9) as President Donald Trump arrived to watch the Washington Commanders take on the Detroit Lions. The event coincided with the NFL’s annual Veterans Day Salute to Service halftime ceremony.

According to the National News Desk, the Commanders confirmed on Saturday (November 8), that the game was completely sold out after President Trump was announced to be in attendance.
Due to the high-profile attendance, fans were encouraged to arrive early and expect TSA-style security screenings at all entrances.
ESPN reported that President Trump reportedly wants the Commanders to name their new stadium after him.
The Commanders retain ownership of the new stadium’s naming rights, which are expected to be sold to a corporate sponsor. However, a source familiar with the process said that honoring an individual in the stadium’s name would be a separate decision from the commercial naming agreement.
Karoline Leavitt also commented on the possibility, saying it would be a “beautiful” name.
“That would be a beautiful name, as it was President Trump who made the rebuilding of the new stadium possible,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told ESPN.
