Attorneys for Karmelo Anthony recently visited Kuykendall Stadium to review the scene of the fatal 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘣ing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf.

This visit comes as they prepare for a bond hearing scheduled for Monday, where they will seek to reduce Anthony’s current $1 million bond. According to his attorney, Billy Clarke, the aim of the visit was to understand the circumstances Anthony faced.

“We just really want to get in our client’s shoes and see what the environment was like. I know it’s a beautiful day today, not what it was like on April 2nd. But we want to see what he was going through, just trying to get an idea of what he saw, what it looked like,” Clarke said.

Anthony claims that he acted in self-defense during the altercation with Metcalf.

In the aftermath of Metcalf’s 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩, which has provoked significant community outrage and concern, reports have emerged about online harassment affecting both families involved.
