Two Mega Mentors Join Season 28 Of The Voice To Help The Contestants Prepare For The Knockouts

The Voice has introduced some significant star power to the show ahead of the knockouts for Season 28.

Season 28 of The Voice premiered on September 22. Since then, we’ve watched coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé form their teams in the blind auditions and make some difficult decisions during the battles.

The coaches had some assistance from a group of all-star advisors in rehearsals for the battles. Nick Jonas, Lewis Capaldi, Lizzo, and Kelsea Ballerini were the team advisors this season. They offered guidance to the contestants as they prepared for their battle performances.

Now, two additional artists are joining The Voice to serve as the Mega Mentors for Season 28. The Mega Mentors will assist the coaches in preparing their contestants for their knockout performances. Country fans will be pleased to see that one of the Mega Mentors is the frontman of a Grammy Award-winning country group.

NBC announced on October 20 that the Eagles’ Joe Walsh and Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band will be Season 28’s Mega Mentors!

Joe Walsh will work with Team Reba and Team Niall, while Zac Brown will help Team Snoop and Team Bublé. Zac previously collaborated with Snoop on the song “Let It Run,” which will be featured on the Zac Brown Band’s upcoming album, Love & Fear.

The Voice Changed Its Schedule – Here’s What You Need To Know

If you want to catch Zac Brown and Joe Walsh as the Mega Mentors on Season 28 of The Voice, you should familiarize yourself with the show’s new schedule. Instead of airing on Mondays and Tuesdays, The Voice will only air on Mondays moving forward.

The change went into effect the week of October 20. So there won’t be a new episode on October 21.

This one episode-a-week schedule will last throughout most of the season. The show shared that it will return with a Tuesday episode on December 16.

Based on the timing of past season finales, this may be the “results” episode where the winner is crowned. Fall seasons of The Voice typically conclude in mid-December, just before Christmas.

But so far, The Voice has not confirmed the dates for its Season 28 finale. We’ll be sure to let you know when they do.
