ht. BREAKING: Disgraced former Congressman George Santos gets PUMMELED with mockery after announcing his decision to flee New York City because Zohran Mamdani is about to win.

New Yorkers just got another reason to vote blue…

“Mamdani is already getting the criminals out of NYC!” joked comedian Gianmarco Soresi on X, quote-tweeting Santos’ announcement.

The announcement itself was pathetic and self-victimizing, a perfect encapsulation of the moral rot and chronic dishonesty that has taken over the Republican Party—

“Sadly it seems that my family and I will be departing the city I’ve called home my entire life. NYC will become a very dangerous place to live in if we elect mayor Mamdani and that is a risk I am unwilling to take now that I want to start growing my family,” Santos wrote on X.

The pathologically criminal Santos was freed from prison last week after Donald Trump decided to commute his federal fraud sentence because in MAGA America Republicans are allowed to commit crimes so long as they display adequate fealty to the White House.

“Leaving the city you’ve called home your entire life? Surely you are not admitting to voting in a state that was not your primary residence just days after getting out of prison?” wrote another X user alongside a screenshot of Santos seemingly casting a mail-in ballot for Pennsylvania.

“You’re a convicted felon, a brazen liar & a shameless fraud who stole $3000 from a wounded veteran’s GoFundMe to care for his dog. You’re as horrible & vile a lowlife as Trump. Maybe you can get a job as a Drag Queen named Kitara Ravache,” wrote another.

“So in other words, Mamdani isn’t even mayor yet and convicted criminals are already fleeing New York City. Wow Zohran is good at his job,” wrote human rights lawyer Qasim Rashid.

“8.5 million New Yorkers just breathed a sigh of relief. I could hear it here in West London,” wrote another X user.

“After Trump frees a criminal @ZohranKMamdani

drives him out of NYC, proving that Mamdani is far better at fighting crime than Donald Trump,” joked another.

It cant be overstated how much this exchange perfectly encapsulates our current political moment. On one side you have a convicted felon spreading smears, on the other you have a Democratic candidate fighting tooth and nail to raise the quality of life for his constituents and curtail corporate power on behalf of the American people. The red vs blue political divide really does boil down to corruption vs. democracy.

What do you think of Zohran? Is he the future of the Democratic Party?
