BB.Kelly Clarkson’s Triumphant Return: Extends 2026 Vegas Run as She Takes the Stage for First Time Since Heartbreaking Loss
Ahead of her emotional return to the Las Vegas stage this week, Kelly Clarkson has announced a new set of summer 2026 dates for her “Studio Sessions” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The superstar has added four new dates in August 2026 to her calendar. This extension will run from July 17, 2026, through August 15, 2026.
Tickets for the newly added dates are set to go on sale November 7 at 10 a.m. PT, with a presale scheduled to begin on November 5 at 10 a.m. PT. A limited number of tickets for the previously announced 2026 concerts are on sale now.
A Difficult Year and a Return to the Stage
The announcement comes as Clarkson prepares for her first live concert performances since the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. She is set to return to the stage this week for four previously scheduled “Studio Sessions” shows on November 7, 8, 14, and 15.
Clarkson’s residency, announced earlier this year, had a challenging start.
- July 4 Postponement: Clarkson abruptly postponed the run’s first few shows just hours before the opening night on July 4. In an Instagram post, she explained that preparing for the shows had “taken a toll” on her voice and that she needed to rest to prevent “doing serious damage.”
- A Brief Return: She returned the following weekend as planned and performed eight gigs at the Colosseum.
- Personal Tragedy: In early August, Clarkson had to step away again after revealing that her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, was ill. Blackstock passed away on August 7 from melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
In the months following Blackstock’s death, Clarkson kept a low profile but has steadily returned to the public eye. In late September, she returned to her daytime talk show, opening the episode with a poignant cover of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”
