AT. Locals Stunned as Luke Bryan Spends the Evening at Pizza Hoss Ahead of His Son’s Football Match

Luke Bryan was in town last night for his son’s football game, but he spent the night catching up with locals at the Pizza Hoss in Karns before the game.

KARNS, Tenn. — Country music singer Luke Bryan was spotted at Pizza Hoss Karns restaurant on Friday night.

Bryan was in town to watch his son, Thomas, play football for Battleground Academy against Grace Christian.

The store’s owner, Shauna Hunt, said that Bryan didn’t just dine at the pizza shop; he spent the evening talking to fans and taking photos.

Hunt said that when Bryan first walked in to order drinks, everyone doubted that he was actually the country music star.

“We didn’t realize that he was coming in, obviously,” Hunt said. “He walked in, and I don’t think anybody really even recognized that it was him — he came in with a group of people and sat down.”

It wasn’t until Bryan went up to the bar that someone told Hunt he was there.

“So he got carded, of course, and the bartender was like, ‘No, I carded him, it really is Luke Bryan.'” Hunt said. “So we were all like, ‘Oh my gosh, what is he doing here?'”

Hunt said that the news that Bryan was there spread really fast because suddenly the pizza shop was standing room only, and they had a line going out the door of people trying to get in.

Hunt said that Bryan’s presence in her store was “an unexpected blessing” and a humbling experience. She said Bryan was very kind to the customers and kids who wanted to take photos and chat.

He even agreed to take a photo with the store’s staff on his way out.

“It was very nice to have him here,” Hunt said.

Bryan continued to have a good night in Knoxville after his Pizza Hoss trip as the BGA Wildcats beat Grace 42-13 in the playoffs.
