dx Rama Duwaji, the First Lady, reportedly liked a post celebrating the Oct. 7 attack as Palestinian ‘resistance’.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife, Rama Duwaji, liked a celebratory Instagram post on the day of Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack that shared images from the murderous assault on Israel, according to a report Friday.

The inflammatory social media posts by lefty groups included images allegedly taken from livestreamed footage of the attack, showing a gleeful group riding on what appeared to be a commandeered Israel Defense Forces vehicle with the words “resisting apartheid since 1948,” the report from Jewish Insider said.

“Breaking the walls of apartheid and military occupation. Oct. 7, 2023,” read another image on the same post, which the outlet reported showed a bulldozer used by terrorists to breach the barrier between Gaza and Israel that day.

The report said Duwaji, 28, also liked a post from the left-wing organization People’s Forum NYC that called for support for “Palestinian resistance,” while advertising a protest against Israel the day after Hamas’ rampage that left 1,200 people dead and another 251 taken hostage.

“Tomorrow, join us to stand with the people of Palestine, who have the right to resist apartheid, occupation & oppression,” the caption read.

Another post that Duwaji reportedly liked was about the protest the next day, in which the caption read, “FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE!”

“Thousands have taken to the streets in #NYC to stand with Palestinian resistance and call for an end to all U.S. aid to apartheid Israel,” it said.

The post featuring the bulldozer and Palestinians celebrating from the left-wing group The Slow Factory included a caption describing Gaza as an “open air prison” while detailing conditions inside the enclave.

“As all eyes around the world focus on Palestine, keep in mind that these walls were built to separate along ethnic lines, the very definition of apartheid,” it said.

The caption on the side of the post described Gaza as an “open air prison” while detailing conditions inside the Palestinian enclave.

“Over half of the population of Gaza are children: if and when the occupation forces retaliate against this resistance, this is the population who will be punished,” the caption stated.

Since Jewish Insider’s reporting emerged about Duwaji’s social media activity, her account appears to no longer like the eyebrow-raising posts.

Mamdani, in response to the Jewish Insider report, argued that his wife was a “private person who has held no formal position on my campaign or in my City Hall,” while calling her “the love of my life.”

“I, however, was elected to represent all 8.5 million people the city,” Mamdani, who has also faced criticism for his anti-Israel stances, told reporters at an unrelated press conference.

The group described Gaza as an “open air prison” in another one of their posts.

“And I believe that it’s my responsibility because of that role to answer questions about my thoughts and my politics, and my stances.”

The report still sparked immediate blowback from local Republican elected officials.

“This is not something the [sic] can be swept under the rug — the sitting Mayor’s wife celebrated the murder of New Yorkers on October 7th,” Rep. Mike Lawler posted on X.

“The Mayor and his wife must answer questions and the media must hold them accountable — the same way they would the First Lady of the United States if she had liked statements celebrating the murder of Americans.”

City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov (R-Brooklyn), a frequent critic of Mamdani, called out the mayor’s wife, “his closest confidant and campaign mastermind,” for “supporting and justifying the horrific rape and massacre of Jews just a day after October 7.”

“It begs the question: behind all the right photo ops, smiles, charm, and TikTok videos, who is Zohran Mamdani?”

Political consultant Ken Frydman also dinged the Big Apple’s first lady.

“The mayor’s wife and I clearly have different likes,” Frydman told The Post.

“I like Israelis who kill Hamas terrorists. She likes Hamas terrorists who killed, wounded and kidnapped Israelis on October 7.”

Duwaji has faced repeated scrutiny for her strong support of the Palestinian cause.

Mamdani’s spouse — who has been the subject of fawning magazine profile pieces since her 34-year-old husband’s stunning election in November — has previously faced scrutiny for her strong support of the Palestinian cause amid the ongoing tension in the region.

She publicly mourned the death of a Palestinian influencer who giddily cheered the Oct. 7 slaughter of 1,200 Israelis and has used her artwork to criticize American support for Israel.

The Mamdani administration told Jewish Insider in response to its report that the Democratic socialist mayor has repeatedly condemned Hamas.

“Mayor Mamdani has been clear and consistent: Hamas is a terrorist organization, October 7th was a horrific war crime, and he has condemned that violence unequivocally,” a spokesperson said.

Earlier this week, New York Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman faced heat because his wife liked social media posts that were critical of the pro-Palestinian movement, according to the New York Times.

Goldman, who faces a primary challenge from ex-City Comptroller Brad Lander, said his wife’s social media habits don’t represent his views.
