We wanted to share an update on Brantley, the close friend of Will Roberts, as many of you have been faithfully checking in, praying, and holding this family close during an incredibly difficult time.
The past stretch has been one of the most serious and unstable periods in Brantley’s ongoing fight. While there have been moments of progress, the reality remains that his condition is fragile and unpredictable, requiring constant vigilance from his medical team and unwavering strength from those who love him.
Recently, Brantley was able to be moved out of the ICU — a step that, on the surface, sounds encouraging. And in many ways, it was. It reflected that he had stabilized enough to no longer require the highest level of critical care. But it’s important to understand that this move did not mean he was out of danger. Far from it. His doctors have been clear that he remains medically complex, and his condition can change quickly and without warning.
Later that same night, Brantley experienced a frightening medical episode that reminded everyone just how delicate this season truly is.
After taking his seizure medication by mouth — something that had been carefully planned and monitored — Brantley suddenly became very ill. The change was rapid and concerning enough to immediately alert his care team. Nurses and doctors responded without hesitation, stepping in to assess and stabilize him while working to understand what had gone wrong.
Moments like these are terrifying for families. One minute brings cautious hope, and the next brings urgent uncertainty. It’s the kind of emotional whiplash that only those walking this road truly understand — the constant balance between gratitude for small steps forward and fear of how quickly things can turn.
Thankfully, Brantley was surrounded by experienced professionals who acted quickly and decisively. He is now being closely monitored as doctors evaluate what this episode means for his treatment plan moving forward. Every medication, every response, and every next step is being weighed with extreme care.
This journey has demanded so much from Brantley already — physically, emotionally, and mentally. And it has demanded just as much from his family, who continue to show up day after day with fierce love, quiet courage, and unwavering hope, even when the road ahead feels impossibly uncertain.
There is no clear timeline right now. No easy answers. No simple explanations. What remains constant, however, is the commitment of his medical team to do everything possible, and the deep love surrounding him from near and far.
In times like this, prayers matter. Encouraging words matter. Knowing that others are standing with you — even from a distance — matters more than we can fully express.
So today, we are asking once again: please continue to lift Brantley and his loved ones in prayer. Pray for wisdom for his doctors. Pray for stability in his body.
