RL Billie Eilish Goes Scorched Earth on “Coward” Elon Musk With NSFW Rant Over Wealth
When it comes to bad guys, Billie Eilish knows a thing or two. And now, she’s used that label when discussing Elon Musk and his incredible wealth. In a recent post to her Instagram story, Eilish shared a string of ideas on how Musk could use his money for the greater good, rather than stockpiling it for personal gain.
Throughout the series of posts, Eilish suggested that the man on track to become the world’s first trillionaire could end world hunger, provide conservation efforts for endangered animals, or even help rebuild war-torn countries. Instead, he likes to treat money like a personal game of Pokémon, where he has to catch it all.
Eilish didn’t stop there, though. She doubled down on her criticism of the world’s richest man with a foul-mouthed rant, labelling Musk as a “f—–g p—y b—h coward.” Of course, her remarks will have divided opinion, as some members of the public believe Musk is using his wealth for the greater good due to his ventures in electric cars, space exploration and his push for freedom of speech.
Nevertheless, as Musk becomes an increasingly divisive figure, Eilish has used her platform to point out the issues that arise when a select few hold a significant portion of the world’s wealth. Of course, that stance isn’t held by everyone, which is what makes the debate so heated.
Billie Eilish Recently Called on Billionaires To Give Their Wealth Away
During a recent appearance at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards on Oct. 29, Eilish, who was accepting the Music Innovator Award, took the time to address the billionaires in the room.
“Love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me,” Eilish said. “If you are a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but give your money away, shorties.”
Eilish’s comments are likely to fall on deaf ears. There’s no law against being wealthy. In fact, it’s what most of the population aspire to achieve. So, while Eilish is free to share her thoughts, we shouldn’t expect to see Musk, or any other billionaire, suddenly double or triple down on their philanthropy, and even if they did, it would be impossible to attribute it back to Eilish. After all, she’s just pointing out the bad guys.
