SO. This morning, our team arrived at the shelter to a heartbreaking sight — a beautiful American Bully left outside in a crate. No note, no call, no message — nothing. She had spent the entire night alone in the cold, terrified and confused.
This morning, our team arrived at the shelter to a heartbreaking sight — a beautiful American Bully left outside in a crate
. No note, no call, no message — nothing. She had spent the entire night alone in the cold, terrified and confused.

When we found her, she was trembling — those big, soulful eyes staring at us like she couldn’t understand why she’d been left behind
. Her body was stiff from the chill, and the crate was covered in mess. As we lifted her out and wrapped her in a warm blanket, she just melted into our arms — scared, but still so gentle.
We want to remind everyone
— our shelter isn’t staffed overnight. When dogs are left outside after hours, they’re completely defenseless. In the past, we’ve had animals hurt, attacked by wildlife, or worse, because someone thought leaving them here was “better than nothing.”
Thankfully, our cameras captured everything
, and animal abandonment charges will be pursued in this case.
Please, show compassion
. Our shelter is open from 7 AM to 4 PM. If you need to surrender or bring in a stray, come during those hours — we’ll never turn away an animal in need when we’re here to help.
For their sake, please be patient ![]()
