For the 2025 season, Marshawn Kneeland recorded six combined tackles and one sack. In 2024, his rookie season, he tallied nine tackles. The 2024 second-round pick appeared in only 11 regular-season games as a rookie due to a knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery.

His death comes months after former tight end Pettis Norman passed away in his sleep.

In what would be his final game, Kneeland recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for his first career touchdown during the Cowboys’ 27-17 loss on Monday night to the Arizona Cardinals.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they navigate this difficult time.

“We promised we’d never release this… but Marshawn’s family said the world needed to see his heart.

This is the final 47 seconds from the sideline camera. No music. No edits. Just #33 being the warrior he always was.

We love you, Beast. Forever in our ring of honor. 💙”
