LDT “Justin Hartley Celebrates Record-Breaking ‘Tracker’ Season 3 Premiere”

Justin Hartley couldn’t hide his excitement after the Season 3 premiere of Tracker drew an impressive 12.97 million viewers, marking a 17% increase over the Season 2 premiere. The strong ratings highlight the show’s growing popularity and cement its status as one of CBS’s top programs this fall.

Hartley, who also serves as co-executive producer, took to social media to thank fans for their continued support. “We love bringing Colter Shaw’s journey to life, and it’s incredible to see so many of you joining us each week,” he wrote.

Season 3 dives deeper into Shaw’s personal story, exploring his family history and the mystery surrounding his father’s death. The premiere, titled “The Process,” also brings Jensen Ackles back as Shaw’s estranged brother, adding fresh tension and drama.

This season sees changes in the main cast, with Abby McEnany (Velma Bruin) and Eric Graise (Bobby Exley) no longer appearing as regulars. Showrunner Elwood Reid confirmed that these departures were written into the storyline, opening space for new arcs and characters to shine.

Industry analysts note that the combination of serialized family drama with procedural missing-persons cases has broadened the show’s appeal, attracting both longtime viewers and new audiences. With Season 3 off to a strong start, CBS is likely to consider the series a solid contender for renewal.

Tracker airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
