RT “COWBOYS SHAKE UP THE LOCKER ROOM — Two Rising Stars Activated in a Bold Week 11 Move!”
In true Dallas Cowboys fashion, the club refuses to just have a solid day of good news. On Tuesday, the heavily anticipated defensive moves that have been hinted at for the last couple of weeks and craved for since the summer actually happened. The club activated sensational linebacker DeMarvion Overshown from the PUP list and rookie corner Shavon Revel, Jr. from the Non-Football Injury list, setting both up to make their 2025 debuts on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders.
However not all is well. Their depleted secondary continues to be ravaged by injury as safety Juanyeh Thomas has been moved to IR as he’s been dealing with migraines over the last several weeks.
Juanyeh Thomas is being moved to the reserve list by the #Cowboys and will miss a minimum of four games.
he has dealt with debilitating migraines for a few weeks now — returned to action in Week 9 but is again in a battle with them.

The club hasn’t yet made a move to re-activate starter Malik Hooker, who has been out since Week 5, but they can wait until later in the week to make that determination.
Overshown and Revel are both recovering from ACL tears that occurred during their respective 2024 seasons. After missing his rookie season with an ACL injury, Overshown amazed all observers with how impactful he was, playing the role of heat-seeking missle at the position, he appeared to be the fastest prusuit defender on the field on a team that also had Micah Parsons.
Overshown, the club’s 2023 third-round pick, had five sacks and 90 tackles in just 13 games last season. The word is that he has been amazing and looking ahead of schedule since training camp, but the team remained patient in his return.
Revel was considered by many to be a first-round talent out of East Carolina, but his early-season ACL injury saw him drop to the third round in April’s draft. He appeared as if he may make the season opener until a training camp setback pushed him back. The Cowboys’ brass is excited for how well he’s matched up with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in practices, and hope he can help turn things around for an anemic coverage effort thus far in 2025.
The Cowboys added All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams at the trade deadline, along with linebacker Logan Wilson. The team could also activate preseason surprise Perrion Winfrey this week, as he’s been out all season with a back injury. His practice window was opened prior to the bye and he could become a rotational player behind Williams, Osa Odighizuwa and Kenny Clark in a revamped defensive interiror.
For now, here’s a look at the team’s 53-man roster, 16-man practice squad , and IR group heading into their Week 11 matchup.
