CAMPUS RAGE: CHAOS AT UC BERKELEY AS RADICAL-LEFT PROTESTERS CLASH WITH FREE SPEECH PROTESTERS
Berkeley, California — Tensions flared once again at the University of California, Berkeley on Monday night, as Turning Point USA (TPUSA) hosted a special event featuring Charlie Kirk mentor Dr. Frank Turek and comedian Rob Schneider.

According to witnesses, hundreds of left-wing protesters gathered outside the auditorium, carrying signs and chanting slogans against TPUSA, accusing the group of “promoting radical conservative ideology.” The atmosphere quickly turned chaotic as some protesters tried to block attendees from entering the campus.
During the scuffle, two people were filmed fighting near campus. A man wearing a “Freedom” shirt was seen with a bloody face, while Berkeley police had to intervene to separate the crowd.
Despite the tension, the event continued inside the auditorium. Dr. Frank Turek and Rob Schneider shared their views on free speech, moral values, and the need for peaceful dialogue in modern society. Schneider said to applause from the audience:

“We cannot let the fear of cancel culture prevent us from speaking the truth.”
TPUSA condemned the protesters’ violence, calling it a “dangerous manifestation of intolerance in academia.”

Meanwhile, a group of opposing students said they were merely “exercising their right to peacefully protest against hateful ideas.”
UC Berkeley – once seen as a symbol of the free speech movement of the 1960s – continues to be a hotbed of ideological conflict between the left and right.
