3S.Former Steelers WR Antonio Brown extradited to U.S., in custody for attempted murder

Former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown has been extradited from Dubai to New Jersey on an attempted murder charge, according to a report from WPLG Local 10.
Brown, facing attempted murder for his involvement in an alleged shooting at an Adin Ross boxing event, was taken into custody at Newark Airport in Essex County, New Jersey, with WPLG Local 10’s David Dwork reporting that he’s expected to be taken to South Florida.
Back in June, The Washington Post reported that Brown was facing the charge for an altercation that turned violent. David Ovalle of the Post summarized from a reviewed warrant that footage appeared to show Brown punching a man, as well as allegedly taking a firearm from a “security officer.” Ovalle also revealed that the warrant said cellphone video showed two shots being fired as Brown approached the man.
We at Steelers Wire are committed to providing you with updates on the situation that Brown finds himself in, with more information on the legal process likely becoming available in the coming weeks.
