PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers legend Rod Woodson, considered one of the greatest linebackers in NFL history, is returning to the city where he made his mark in the 1990s, bringing with him the excitement and memories of the team.

Woodson joined the Steelers in 1987 and remained with the team until 1996. During his time with the team, he helped the team win many important victories and became a terror to opposing offenses with his speed, skill, and excellent reading of the game.

Woodson’s return is not only symbolic but also an inspiration to the young linebackers who play for the Steelers today. “Rod is a role model of dedication, skill, and fighting spirit. We are excited to have him back to share his experience with the younger players,” said the Steelers head coach.
