LDN. “Dancing With The Stars” Fan Favorite Sent Home In Shocking Elimination. LDN

Dancing With the Stars Season 34 Week 8 ended with a heartbreaking elimination of a fan favorite.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night had celebrities and their professional partners dancing to some of the genre’s biggest hits on Dancing With the Stars. In recent weeks, the field of 14 celebrity-professional dance pairings has been whittled down. Tuesday night saw the elimination of the seventh couple, meaning half of those who started the competition have been sent home.
Going into Week 8, the following pairs were still in the running:
-Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles and pro dancer Ezra Sosa
-“Boy Meets World” actress Danielle Fishel and pro dancer Pasha Pashkov
-Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and pro dancer Whitney Carson
-“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt and pro dancer Mark Ballas
-“Traitors” winner Dylan Efron and pro dancer Daniella Karagach
-“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Alix Earle and pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy
-Parent Trap actress Elaine Hendrix and pro dancer Alan Bernsten
-Comedian Andy Richter and pro dancer Emma Slater
Each of the pairs took a turn on the dance floor together before the entire cast was split in half for a team dance competition.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Kool & the Gang and Chicago were in the house to deliver live performances for the team competition. Julianne Hough, Andy Richter and Emma Slater, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten made up Team Kool and danced to the band’s song “Celebration.”
Alfonso Ribeiro, Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, and Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach made up Team Chicago and performed to the group’s 1970 hit, “25 or 6 to 4.”
At the end of the night, someone had to be sent home.
With only three weeks of competition left until a new winner is crowned and presented with the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, an elimination was inevitable. Each week, the results get more emotional as the teams see the finish line in sight.
Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro took turns revealing the fate of the couples. Alix and Val, Dylan and Daniella, Robert and Witney, Jordan and Ezra, and Elaine and Alan were deemed safe. The other three teams, Andy and Emma, Danielle and Pasha, and Whitney and Mark, were in danger of going home.
Ultimately, the couple sent home was Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov.
After learning her fate, the “Boy Meets World” star told viewers that the experience was life-changing for her.
