SO. Gut-wrenching moment Erika Kirk introduced on stage by old recording of her husband Charlie
Grieving widow Erika Kirk couldn’t hide her emotion as she heard a recording of her late husband Charlie’s voice introducing her on stage at a Turning Point USA campus event on Wednesday, heartbreaking video shows.
The mom-of-two, and new CEO of TPUSA, was seen crying softly backstage as she prepared to speak at an event at the University of Mississippi on Wednesday night, according to a video shared by Charlie Kirk’s former Chief of Staff, Mikey McCoy, on X.

Wearing a white tee with the word “Freedom” on the front, similar to that worn by her husband on the day of his assassination on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University, Erika, 36, dabbed her eyes with a tissue as she ascended the steps to the platform, while a recording of Charlie introducing her at a previous event as “the best mom in the world,” was played.

“I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for her. What a strong & courageous young woman. God bless & protect her and all of TPUSA,” one X user wrote in the comments below.
