ss BREAKING NEWS: Cowboys Crushed by the Broncos – But Just as the Team Faces a Storm of Criticism, Dallas’ Captain Dak Prescott Steps Up to Take Full Responsibility: “If I Played Better, Maybe We Would Have Won.” Fans Are in Uproar, All Eyes on Dallas’ Leader!

Dallas, Texas – October 28, 2025

Empower Field echoed with the cheers of Denver Broncos fans, while the Dallas Cowboys’ locker room fell silent like a graveyard. Following the heavy 24–44 loss to the Broncos, a wave of criticism poured down on the team across media and social networks. The Cowboys’ offense was seen as “lifeless,” the defense crumbling, and star Dak Prescott – once called the spiritual leader of Dallas – became the focal point.

But instead of dodging, Prescott chose to confront it. In the post-game press conference, he stood up, looked straight into the cameras, and spoke firmly:

“If I played better, maybe we would have won. I know the fans are disappointed – and so am I. I am the captain of this team, and when we lose, the first fault must be mine. I will not hide, not blame anyone else. I just want to say… I’m sorry, for not delivering the pride that Dallas deserves.”

That was a rare confession, but filled with the true character of a leader – someone who dares to stand in the eye of the storm and take the blame upon himself.

Prescott only managed 189 passing yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions – his worst performance since the 2021 season. In the third quarter, the Cowboys’ offense lost the ball three consecutive times while in attacking position, allowing the Broncos to easily control the entire game.

“We had good tactics, but I didn’t capitalize on the opportunities. When you let a team like Denver get too far ahead, everything becomes hard to recover from,” Prescott added. “I know the fans are disappointed – and they have every right to be.”

Head coach Brian also spoke up to defend his player: “Dak is the first to take the blame, but this is a collective failure. We will rise together.”

On social media, Cowboys fans were divided: some criticized, some sympathized. But most agreed that Dak Prescott remains the heart of Dallas – the one who doesn’t shirk responsibility and dares to bear the greatest pressure.

Despite the bitter defeat, the image of Prescott bowing his head in apology to fans as he left the field moved many. For the Cowboys, the season is still long, and if they can rebound from here – the starting point will be the very moment Dak Prescott said: “I take responsibility.”
