2s.Carrie Underwood Turns Heads at the Grand Ole Opry with a Look Fans Can’t Stop Talking About.2s

When it comes to pulling off a look, country queen Carrie Underwood is a seasoned professional. Over the years, the soulful singer has walked countless red carpets, rocked premieres, and pulled off high-stakes performances in style.

On Friday, October 25, Underwood was part of the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th Birthday Show and performed alongside notable names like Junior Brown, T. Graham Brown, Preston Cooper, Charles Esten, Don Schlitz, and Connie Smith — and once again showed up dressed to kill.
Donning a blue floral mini dress, Underwood showed off not only her stunning style but also her impressively toned physique. Fans raved about everything from her hair to her outfit.
“This hair color is everything,” one fan simply said.
“Yesssss love the whole vibe,” added another.
“That hair. That dress. GORGEOUS,” raved another.

Underwood took the opportunity to honor the late songwriter Brett James, who, along with his wife and stepdaughter, was recently killed in a plane crash, with her performance.
“I’m blessed to have known him, and I get the gift of singing his words and melodies for the rest of my life,” she captioned the photo.
She also recently announced that she’d be honoring James on her SiriusXM show, Carrie’s Countdown, throughout the month in a tearful announcement.
“I choose to make this countdown about remembering Brett James because I feel like it’s healing, it is celebratory and it’s fitting,” she tearfully said. “He’s going to be missed so much by anybody that knew him. It’s going to be weird writing and not having him on the schedule but hopefully we can take everything we have learned from Brett with us and continue to write amazing songs.”

James, who was an Opry member himself, had 27 No. 1 songs to his name with an impressive roster of artists. In addition to co-writing Underwood’s iconic “Jesus Take the Wheel,” he also co-wrote her other hits like “Cowboy Casanova” and “Something in the Water.” James is also the genius behind these incredible tracks:
- “Who I Am” — Jessica Andrews (writers: Brett James, Troy Verges)
- “Blessed” — Martina McBride (writers: Brett James, Hillary Lindsey, Troy Verges)
- “The Truth” — Jason Aldean (writers: Brett James, Ashley Monroe)
- “It’s America” — Rodney Atkins (writers: Brett James, Angelo Petraglia)
- “I Hold On” — Dierks Bentley (writers: Dierks Bentley, Brett James)
Underwood is currently slated to perform throughout the weekend for the Grand Ole Opry’s “Opry Goes Pink” shows, which aim to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
